Data Deletion

How to remove your data from Outlaw Data, and how to verify a request was honored.

Check a deletion request

If Facebook gave you a confirmation code, paste it here to see the status of that request.

Delete your data

Any of these will do it:

  • In the app. Sign in and go to Connect Accounts, then remove the connection. The stored access token and every metric we pulled for that account are deleted immediately.
  • From Facebook. Open Facebook Settings, go to Apps and Websites, find Outlaw Data, and remove it — choosing the option to delete your data. Facebook notifies our deletion endpoint automatically and hands you a confirmation code you can check above.
  • By email. Write to johnnyoutlawllc@gmail.com. We delete your account and everything tied to it within 30 days, usually the same day, and reply with confirmation.

What gets deleted

The stored OAuth access token for the connection, the connection record itself, and all derived data we pulled for that account: Page and profile history, follower counts, daily insight metrics, your synced posts and media, per-post metrics, and aggregate audience demographics. There is no archival copy, and the deletion is not reversible.

We keep one thing: an audit record containing the confirmation code, timestamps and a count of what was removed — so that a deletion can be verified after the fact. It contains no social platform content.
